Celebrities Support Cyber Bullying Film

Top celebrities support the making of highly anticipated and potentially life saving independent short film, Cyber Sin, which addresses the severity of cyber bullying amongst teenagers, to help attract funding.

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 06, 2009 – Founder of Ozemag.com, Evette Henderson, who is also the writer/producer of independent short film Cyber Sin, has attracted the support of a number of top celebrities to endorse the project.
Australian actor, Gyton Grantley ("Underbelly", "Balibo") and international actor, John Jarrett ("Wolf Creek", "Australia") as well as comedian/actor, Bruno Lucia have all come on board Cyber Sin by giving a testimonial of support.
The credible action is to assist the creative team in attracting funding for the making of the film, which aims to go into production at the end of October 2009.
"Cyber Sin is targetted at teenage girls and boys, so having high profile celebrities attached to the project is a huge bonus," Evette said.
Cyber Sin is a four-minute promotional film that addresses the severity, longevity and domino effect of cyber bullying.
The timing of the sensitive subject matter couldn't be better as digital violence is happening to children and teenagers across the world right now.
In addition to celebrity endorsement the Cyber Sin creative team have also attracted the support of the Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation.
"We're thrilled to have Honorary Chief Executive, John Hardy, officially commend our efforts so far," Evette said.
Cyber Sin aims to increase world awareness about the serious nature of cyber bullying, and the potential dangers and consequences whether directly or indirectly involved.
"We wish to empower youth with courage and confidence to say no to bullying, as well as educate the community and encourage them to promote child safety and protection against digital violence thereby shaping a positive future for young people," Evette said.
The script is currently in the hands of the cyber section of the government for official and financial support after already giving their verbal support.
"We implore any individuals or companies to support the making of Cyber Sin by donating in either cash or kind. It's a win/win project because they get to help us give something back to the community as well as earn a professional film credit," Evette said.
