Rob and Kristen’s possible relationship has been the subject of much speculation this past year, the pair recently spotted holding hands at an airport - but both previously denying rumours.
However, in last night’s interview with Rob, host Letterman managed to get to the point fast.
He opened the interview by pointing to a cover of Bazaar magazine which featured Rob and Kristen posing intimately on the front cover.
He then quizzed: “That’s a nice picture right there, this is you and Kristen Stewart, correct? You’re dating her, am I right about that?”
Rob answered: “I’ve been so kind of cryptically avoiding this question thoughout the entire...”
“Bite me!” interjected Dave. “What do I care?”
It appeared the opening dialogue may have been staged so as to get the issue out of the way, as unfortunately for us they didn’t go on to mention the matter again, instead talking about Rob’s American accent and teenage girls’ vampire obsession.
